DPK on Film - Roll 4 (Kodak Tri-X 400)
When I started playing around with film everyone told me that the black and white film I needed to shoot was Tri-X 400. I picked up a roll right away and was excited to load it into my grandfather’s old Pentax K1000 and set off for a weekend in St. Pete with (a then still pregnant) Courtney.
I exposed the film at box speed because my last roll of black and white film (Iflord XP2) seemed prone to over exposure. I was much happier with this roll being properly exposed at ASA 400. The things I loved most about Tri-X were the contrast and grain. Again I went to The Darkroom to get this film developed and I was very happy with their work . As always, If anyone has any questions (or tips) I’d love to hear them!
